This year has already seen a multitude of amazing movies on the big screen: Elvis, Top Gun: Maverick, and Jurassic World Dominion. There are still a few blockbuster movies that are expected to be released before the end of 2023. Most are familiar with the Marvel Universe and their multitude of blockbuster hits that have dominated the box office over the years. So, it is no surprise that yet another MCU installment is on this list. The sequel to 2018’s Black Panther, Wakanda Forever is expected to hit the big screen on November 18, 2022. After the recent passing of Chadwick Boseman, fans are wondering who is going to be the next Black Panther. Many fingers are pointing toward Black Panther’s mother or his arch nemesis M’Baku. To answer all these rumors, it has been confirmed by USAToday that the new Black Panther will in fact be Shuri (Black Panther’s sister) who is most known for her wacky and innovative inventions.
Disney has a new magical surprise coming to theaters on May 23,2023. Disney fans of all ages are excited for the live action remake of The Little Mermaid played by American singer and actress Halle Bailey. She is best known for being one half of the musical duo Chole x Halle with her sister Chlöe Bailey; together earning five Grammy Award nominations since 2018.
Princess Ariel is not the only childhood favorite coming to the big screen in 2023! Super Mario has been a fan favorite for decades, and will make the leap to theaters on April 7, 2023. Co-producers Nintendo and Illumination
