Outer Banks has been one of Netflix’s most popular shows since 2020. Many people fell in love with the show for its beachy aesthetic and charismatic characters. Aside from this, the plot is filled with action and suspense. The newest season of Outer Banks recently came out February 23, 2023, and so far, many people are thrilled to watch it. In this article, we’ll be diving into topics such as a brief summary of the plot, and reviewing some of our student responses on fan favorite characters!
Plot Synopsis
To begin, we can’t fully divulge without talking about what Outer Banks is about. Set in the beachy coast of North Carolina, Outer Banks follows a group of teens and their quest for treasure. In the beginning, they all lead seemingly normal lives, where the main character, John B, had recently lost his father in a mysterious disappearance at sea. As the story progresses, the characters move from their once peaceful lives into a never-ending cycle in their journey to retrieve what is rightfully theirs. But when the characters risk losing everything, is it worth it for the small chance of gaining riches?
Fan Favorites
All of the characters are lovable in this show, but everyone is entitled to liking one more than the other. We’ve asked our peers who their favorite character is and this is what they said: Sarah Jimenez said, “JJ is definitely my favorite character. I think he’s really funny because he doesn’t think much. He just works on impulse, and I think the funniest dialogue has been between him and John B.” Lindsay Charles said, “I think JJ is my favorite Outer Banks character, he is funny and doesn’t think about his actions but he would do anything to save or help his friends.” Ava Coffey said her favorite character is Cleo, because she is very rational with her actions. She thinks that Cleo brings the group back to reality whenever someone is being unreasonable. Overall, all of the characters are admirable and we can’t wait to see them back on screen for season 3.
Viewer Excitement
Overall, the new season of Outer Banks is highly anticipated to be the best of the series so far. Viewers are excited to see their favorite characters on the big screen once more and hope for them to get a happy ending. As for the Raider Review, we could not be more excited to see what season 3 will bring for the story.
