With Summer just around the corner, many Raiders are wondering which destination would be the best place to vacation in 2023. Have no fear! The Raider Review is here to provide you with the top 3 travel destinations for Summer 2023!
The third place contender is San Diego, California. San Diego is known as a popular and intriguing
vacation spot due to its many beaches and great amusement parks, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that San Diego has established a spot and name on this list. Being known as “America’s Finest City,” it is home to the world-famous zoo (San Diego Zoo), Sea World, the air and space museum, plus many other family-friendly attractions. In addition to all of that, the city has many more activities to offer! For example, whale watching, harbor cruises and skydiving are all popular to tourists. San Diego has a multitude of breath-taking beaches including La Jolla beach, Carlsbad beach, and many others.. San Diego is also known for its scenic tours by electric bike that take you throughout the town, teaching about the city and its history. There is so much this city has to offer, the list goes on and on.
Sometimes we are so focused on trying to find fun in other cities that we take our own city for granted.
We forget that some of the most fun things can be found in our own backyard, which in our case is Miami! Sliding in second place is our own Miami, Florida. Besides its wonderful weather and beaches, there are multitude of clubs and eateries that summer travelers and tourists can indulge. No other city in the nation has been able to emulate Miami’s nightlife. Due to the heterogeneous mixture of cultures and the close knit community we have built, nothing can come close to the comfortability and welcomingness we bring to the city’s nightlife. This makes it a solid choice in this list.
Crashing in first place is Myrtle Beach. With its 60 mile long beach it should come as no surprise that Myrtle Beach is number one for top places to visit for Summer 2023. There are many water parks and amusement parks for everyone, both old and young, to enjoy. Myrtle Beach has so much to offer no matter what interests you, with activities ranging from live music, dinners, theaters, jousting knights, Polnesian luau with fire dancers, and so much more. Stopping by Myrtle Beach during the summer is sure to fulfill your summer vacation whims!
