Halloween first began back in the 1840’s, but traditions are still celebrated today! As this spooky holiday approaches, many are excited due to Covid-19 restrictions being lifted. This Halloween will be bigger than recent years. So, let’s take a look at some of the upcoming Halloween trends!
Costumes
For many, the most important part of Halloween is getting to dress up in stylish costumes. Every year there are different costume trends. This year’s predictions of trends include pirate costumes, characters from the popular Netflix series Stranger Things, classic M&M’s, and Minions. Many people like to stick with what’s trending now for their costumes, but this year some people are deciding to spice it up and make their own costumes. Halloween is the time for everyone to get creative and share with their friends and family!

Events
There are many events going on up until Halloween. One of the most popular events includes Halloween Horror Nights. Halloween Horror Nights is an event located at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. Halloween Horror Nights is known for its scares and enjoyable scenery. This event has various dates and tickets are being sold at Universal Orlando. A local Halloween event approaching is The Haunt located in Tree Tops Park, Davie. The event will be held on the 8th, 14th, 15th, 21st, 22nd, 28th, 29th, 30th, & 31st of October. Tickets can be bought on TormentedTrails. The Haunt is said to have a maze located with thrilling scares and a less scary trail for families with young children to walk and enjoy the scenery. For younger kids, or anyone a fan of Disney, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is located at Disney’s Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Florida. This event has many attractions for young children, and even features a firework show, as well as a masquerade of fan favorite characters. Tickets for this event are currently sold out.
