The Premier League is back and better than ever! We have hit the halfway point in the Premier League season where there have been many surprises. During this season alone, Erling Haaland has taken the footballing world by storm. Erling is on track to break the scoring record and get a hat trick record; scoring three goals in a game. Haaland has proven himself to be a force to be reckoned with and a promising young striker, he could very well be the future of Manchester City.
A team that has struggled in recent years but has had success in the Premier League this year is Arsenal. Last season Arsenal finished with a disappointing 5th seed which sent them to the Europa League. As for the coach, many people questioned whether Mikel Arteta had what it took to take Arsenal to the Champions League and beyond. In the transfer window, Arsenal made a big move to pick up ex-Manchester City striker, Gabriel Jesus for a contract worth about $45 million dollars. When Gabriel went to Qatar for international duty, he returned with a lingering knee problem that has left him unable to play. His backup, Nketiah, had to step up and has been in great form, scoring in all Arsenal home games. With Jesus recovering, the big question stands, who will be the starting striker for these games ahead? This decision could become a big factor. Nevertheless, this season is looking to be a promising one full of shocks, upsets, and good football.
