Education is an essential part of life and should be an experience that everyone gets to have access to in their lifetime. Education is more than just learning how to multiply and divide or how to write a perfect argumentative essay. Education is what allows us to evolve and grow as people and reach a higher, more well-skilled version of ourselves. Education should be something that is free and given to students with no worries of future student debt. Free education would allow more people an opportunity to reach their full potential and have the life they deserve. Additionally, free education would allow more people to attend school, creating a well educated labor force; also a potential increase in new innovations.
Society itself will become more advanced and progress at a faster rate if more people have good problem solving skills. Higher graduation rates allow more people to be employed at high level skilled jobs like police officers, firefighters, doctors/surgeons, etc. US Students graduate college with a minimum of $31,000 of student debt. These students spend years trying to pay their debt back instead of earning, saving, and spending which helps revive the economy; therefore, allowing the economy to boost and progress in a positive way. Along with a boost in the economy, eliminating student debt lets students focus more on their studies and goals rather than finding ways to pay back the money they owe. Lastly, it’s an opportunity for equality because it allows the playing field to become fair and gives a chance for everyone to receive an education and expand their minds to their fullest capabilities. Providing students free education opens the door to endless possibilities and gives their creative minds boundless opportunities to branch out and bloom.
